Cathy Haynes

Cathy is an artist, writer and curator and regularly runs creativity training session for The School of Life, the Clore Foundation Leadership Programme and The British Council. We wanted someone on the Salon stage to bust the myths about creativity and get us in touch with our own, and we could have no one better for that job.
This Salon the second in our Motivate, Create, Innovate series will be part creative workshop, part lecture. All furthering your creativity.

Cathy has been Curator of Public Programmes for The School of Life, and Curator for Art on the Underground where she produced Acts of Kindness, Michael Landy's major public project for the Central line. She has also been Head of Interaction at Artangel, where she initiated and co-produced the Nights of London series with artists' commissions by Sukhdev Sandhu and Janice Kerbel among others.

She is regularly a guest speaker for cultural and academic bodies who've included D&AD, the Royal College of Art, the Leadership Programme at Oxford University's Saïd Business School, the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, and the Hayward, Whitechapel and Serpentine Galleries.
